Our Institutional History

A New Institution with a Meaningful Vision

Rajkiye Degree Mahavidyalay , Singhiya, Samastipur was established in 2026 with the objective of expanding access to quality higher education for students of Singhiya and surrounding rural areas.

The establishment of the college represents an important step towards strengthening the higher education system in the region. Before the establishment of this institution, many students had to travel to distant places to pursue undergraduate education.

As a constituent unit of L.N. Mithila University, Darbhanga, the college follows the academic regulations, curriculum, examination framework and institutional guidelines of the university.

From its beginning, the college has aimed to create a disciplined, inclusive and student-friendly academic environment. The institution is committed to combining classroom teaching with digital services, academic guidance, moral values and social responsibility.
